Terratai is focused on tackling the food system challenges driving ecosystem and biodiversity loss in the world’s most at-risk land and seascapes. We do this by investing in and supporting nature positive enterprises.

Our mission is to create and support innovative, impactful, and scalable businesses that halt and reverse the systemic drivers of nature and biodiversity loss in Asia’s most at risk land and seascapes.

Terratai was incubated by RS Group, a Hong Kong based family office. RS Group has been active in impact investing and related ecosystem building in Asia for the last 12 years, and on nature-based solutions since 2019.

Terratai was borne out of an intensive 2-year period of research and development financed by RS Group, which included the completion of a comprehensive feasibility study on market potential and drivers of nature-based businesses in Southeast Asia, and a lengthy period of proof-of-concept testing and design.
